I think this is a complete lie, though I haven’t played it yet. I’m pretty much an expert in all software though and without having seen even a single review or screenshot, I can certify this game as horrible. Also, it gave me brain parasites. I have to go to a neurologist on Monday.
Yeah, although it’s in japanese and hence the story is incrohemsible, the opening sequence is possibly the best in the series. It feels like an older DW as well; for some reason Dragon Warrior II keeps popping into my head.
The music is also outstanding. Sugiyama really went all out on it. I would say it has the best music since the NES Dragon Warrior games.
Graphics-wise, I also feel like they did a much better job with the cell shading than they did in DQ8. In 8, I felt like they were trying to show it off; kind of that “LOOK OUT OUR NEW TECHNOLOGY” attitude that developers can sometimes get. In this, it feels more like it’s a DQ game, that just happens to be cell shaded.

I retract my previous comment.
Have you already played it?

Did you pirated it?
