Yeah, although it's in japanese and hence the story is incrohemsible, the opening sequence is possibly the best in the series. It feels like an older DW as well; for some reason Dragon Warrior II keeps popping into my head.

The music is also outstanding. Sugiyama really went all out on it. I would say it has the best music since the NES Dragon Warrior games.

Graphics-wise, I also feel like they did a much better job with the cell shading than they did in DQ8. In 8, I felt like they were trying to show it off; kind of that "LOOK OUT OUR NEW TECHNOLOGY" attitude that developers can sometimes get. In this, it feels more like it's a DQ game, that just happens to be cell shaded.

I think this is a complete lie, though I haven't played it yet. I'm pretty much an expert in all software though and without having seen even a single review or screenshot, I can certify this game as horrible. Also, it gave me brain parasites. I have to go to a neurologist on Monday.

Nice! What kind of camera did you use? The Bubble Bobble ones are particularly interesting because of how the monsters transform into something entirely different-waterfalls. How long were the exposure times?
